Valley Pools LLC started in Huntsville over 36 years ago. Current owner Ronny Hughes bought the business 28 years ago and has built it into one of Huntsville’s most trusted pool companies. The original owner, Bob Taylor, still works with us today. He’s been part of the team for 17 years since selling to Ronny.

Chief of Operations Jeff Jones has been with the company 26 years. He oversees operations and focuses primarily on sales, design and customer relationships throughout the construction process. Project manager Gus handles the physical construction aspects, and together they manage every project from design through completion.

The inside team includes Nicole (17 years), who handles inside sales and logistics, and her daughter Krista (14 years), who manages accounts receivable. Our newest team member has been here three years and came to us as a referral from a family whose pool we built.

Our subcontractors are equally established. Our excavator Tim has worked with us approximately 27 years. We’ve calculated we’ve done about 1,700 pools together over those years. Our mason, concrete contractor and all our trades have been with us over 10 years. We work with the same experienced professionals year after year. They’re family.

Leisure Pools Huntsville intentionally stays small. We don’t chase high volume. We focus on quality installations with personalized service. We’ve refined our process over 36 years. We know what works. We’ve worked out the major problems. We’ve learned what makes pools perform beautifully for decades.

Construction involves variables we can’t always control. We address problems when they arise and make things right. We’re here for warranty support and service after installation. Many of our customers become friends. They buy chemicals from our retail store, get free water testing and know they can reach us if they need help.
